Instructional strategies

Instructional strategies are the tools and techniques that Instructors use to design and facilitate learning. They can help students stay motivated, engaged and focused, as well as help them organize information and monitor and assess their own learning.

✍Select effective Instructional strategies for online learning

In this ITO course, we have started planning our online courses with the end in mind. We have articulated our course outcomes, module learning objectives and decided what types of formative and summative assessments we could use. The final stage of the Backward planning process is deciding how you will teach. In this phase of the design process you need to think about instructional strategies and learning activities that would work best to provide students with the resources and information they need to achieve your course outcomes and objectives.
